I learned about Germany not from books but from life. I was born and grew up in Cologne. Germany isn't a target market for me — it's the country I grew up in, whose language, culture and way of doing business I lived first-hand. After studying economics at the University of Kansas in the US, I moved to Turkey and built my career between exactly these two worlds.
For 15 years I worked at the German-Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AHK). Throughout those years I supported hundreds of companies, both strategically and operationally, in their journey into foreign markets. From finding business partners and meeting public officials to customs and tax law and legal processes — on the ground, hands-on.
Since 2022 I've been the official Turkey representative of Hamburg Invest, and since 2025 of the State of Schleswig-Holstein. As the only authorised advisor in Turkey holding both North-German mandates simultaneously, I offer you not just information but direct corporate access.
